The Farthest Fall

As clouds dance lightly,
Across the sky,
I close my eyes,
And start to cry.

I think of how,
My life has gone.
And embrace regrets,
Of what went wrong.

My thoughts meander,
And I realize,
A lights been placed,
Before my eyes.

I can live with joy,
Instead of fear.
With thought and care,
And loved ones near.

The love that’s present,
In us all,
Can overcome,
The farthest fall.
